Being the Creative Production Manager for a Minor League Baseball team is crazy this time of yeah… I am doing 3-4 hours of work at home most nights just to keep up with my To-Do list.
The gf leaves for Afghanistan on Friday the 13th next month… NOT looking forward to that. She will have her first vacation in September thought, right as my season is ending.
Last weekend was the 1st time I wasn’t really happy about being in Michigan since I was there to help the family out after the passing of my grandmother :(
Anyway, Gonna try and keep up with this thing more.

I’m not sure it has sunk in yet that I am a legit full-time employee of a Minor League Baseball team yet… I still feel like its a 9 month internship and such. It probably won’t sink in until its November and I am bored out of my mind.
I love the way a sketchbook/journal gets once it is almost full— crinkled pages, stained pages, pages sticking outside of the edges. You can tell it has been used, has been the the receptacle for creativity. Keeping a sketchbook/journal is so freeing. Sometimes I draw, mostly I write, and put in inspiring images. This is my favorite one to look through, because it has been my most successful mesh of a sketchbook and journal thus far. It’s almost complete, after a little under a year. I need to work on sketching/doodling more inside, though not necessarily writing less. My printmaking sketchbook is good too, though that needs more on the writing side. I think good sketchbooks invite outsiders to look into them— to delve into the author’s/artist’s mind.
I got a couple of Moleskine’s for work and I am so very happy I did. I got a Special Edition star wars one for meetings/notes and a smaller reporters one for doodles/design ideas
